Island Brewing Company is located in Carpinteria, CA, a small oceanside community with three stop lights, gentle sloping beaches, friendly people, fresh air, and stunning mountain views. We have been brewing award winning beers in this little slice of paradise since 2000, we’ve won both national and international acclaim for our hand crafted ales, steadily gaining a groundswell of support among beer enthusiasts. Our goal has never been to take over the world. Our goal has to been brew great beer as a means of camaraderie and community. We’ve put our heart, soul, and amazing ingredients into our beer to make them the freshest and best tasting as they can be.
We take pride in having become a meeting place where new friends are made, the bonds of established friendships strengthened. We’re a place that supports local artists and music, a place where business gets conducted, and people sometimes meet the love of their lives. Beer is better with camaraderie and community.
Craft brewing is one part art, one part science, one part labor of love, many parts sweat, toil, worry and above all the over reaching belief that focused efforts bring positive results. We started brewing on the stove, did some dreaming, took the leap, took a few more leaps, and 15 years later have a thriving brewery in an amazing part of the world serving amazing people. Island Brewing Company is a family-run, award-winning microbrewery in Carpinteria, California serving beer enthusiasts, bars, and restaurants along the beautiful Santa Barbara coast.
